If you’re coming to one of our group rides, you need to know this before you ride. Sometimes it’s a little hard to hear on-site, so we thought we would record it for you to watch beforehand. This is also handy because if you’ve never been on one of our group rides, it’ll give you a good idea of what they’re like.
Special thanks to Ian McCausland (video) and Julia. I want to take a moment to bring attention to this force of nature. Julia chairs the Outreach and Education Committee and is committed to getting more people on bikes. You will always see her in our group rides with her cute dog, Willow. We’re so lucky to have Julia as a Board Director and though this is her last year on the Board, she will continue to chair her committee and undoubtedly keep showing up to help marshal the group rides. Julia lives car-free and gets around year-round, mostly on her bike. If you see her around, make sure to say hi. Her personality is as infectious as her smile!
