Do you remember last week, I opened the newsletter talking about summer and ice cream? Well, we all know It’s so much fun to go on a group ride with bike people, and you know what makes it even better? A destination… and of course ice cream, amirite?
In collaboration with Fête Ice Cream & Coffee, Bike Winnipeg’s City Centre local bike group is offering a relaxed, family-friendly ride that will start and end at Fête’s shop on the main floor of 300 Assiniboine Ave at Navy Way.
There’s no way I’m going to miss this one, so I already signed up as a ride marshal. The ride is on Tuesday, August 27 and it starts at 6:30 PM after our land acknowledgement and safety briefing, and a 90-minute route will take us through The Forks, the Exchange District, Downtown, and Wolseley, where we’ll tour Back Alley Arctic, returning to the shop via the Assiniboine Ave bike lane to enjoy ice cream!
